Description:

Albendazole 2.5% is a synthetic Anthelmintic, which belongs to the group of Benzimidazole derivatives with activity against a broad range of parasitic worms and at a higher dose level against liver-flukes.

Indications:

Albendazole 2.5% is used for prophylaxis and treatment of worm infections in cattle, calves, sheep and goats like:-
Gastrointestinal worm: Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Nametodirus, Chabertia, Oesophagostomum, Bonostomum, Cooperia, Strongyloides and Trichostrongylus spp.
Lungworms: Dictyocaulus viviparus and Dictyocaulus filaria.
Tapeworms: Moniezia spp.
Liver-Flukes: Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica.

Warning:

Animals should not be slaughtered for human consumption 14 days after treatment.
Milk for human consumption may be taken 72hours after treatment.
